Quilmes Playa [1920s-1950s]

Description: In Quilmes there was a very aristocratic sea resort built on the coast of the River Plate. It had an Olympic pool with salt water, a skate rink, and movies that were projected on a screen that was set over the river. In 1921, the Club Náutico (Natucial Club) but, in 1930, the sea-resort set on fire: 400 bathing compartments, the entrance stairs that gave way to the resort, part of the galleries to the riverwalk, and the well-known and uninsured Munich Hotel.
