Description: Punta Chica is a chic neighbourhood in Northern Gran Buenos Aires. It is now one of the favourite place for residential houses and closed neighbourds (barrios cerrados). As other neibourhoods in Argentina its development started with the arrival of the railway in the 19th century. The monastery is for cloister nuns and still exists and especialises in cooking gourmet sweets.
