San Antonio de Areco [1920s-1960s]

Description: San Antonio de Areco is one of the districts of the province of Buenos Aires. It was founded in 1730 by José Ruiz de Arellano. The capital city of this territory is the also called San Antonio de Areco that remains as a historical place due to the much admired writer Ricardo Guiraldes who lived there. The railway station San Antonio de Areco was founded in 1892 and was closed in 1992.
