The book refers to land titles from the parish of Cabaceiras, in the year 1856. It contains titles of plots of lands belonging to José Bizerra de Maria, Jacinto Theodoro Martir, Luis José Ferreira de Macedo, André Firmino Dantas e Maria Joaquina da Conceição, José Estevão do Nascimento, Antonio Marcolino, Estevão José da Roxa, Manuel Januário de Mattos, José Bizerra de Moura, among others. Lands were obtained through inheritance, purchase, or other means, and were localed in the parish of Cuité, Gruta do Jatobá, in the farm (sítio) Picuí, and others; and land grants (sesmarias) in Dos Dantas, Sant’Anna, Picuí, Pedra D’Agoa de Fora, Riaxo do Bai, Timbaúba, and others. Titles refer to parcels of land with no clear area and only a few were registered as measuring tenwty fanthoms.
