This volume contains marriage records from 1877 to 1885. The betrothed were free and enslaved, white and black, and hailed from the parish of Nossa Senhora dos Milagres, Cabaceiras, Monteiro, Alagoa Nova, Piancó, Campina Grande, and Patos. Marriages took place at the Casa de oração de Serra Branca, at the Sítio Catolé, and in private places of worship at the following Fazendas (Ranches): Santo André, União, Carnaúba, Algodão, and Pendencia. Sacraments were administered by Father Vicar José de Sousa Magalhães.
