Code words to be used in telegrams on railway business

Printed book published by the Sierra Leone Railway titled 'Code words to be used in telegrams on railway business', issued on 16 September 1946 by the General Manager, W.H. Salkield. The book gives instructions on the use of telegrams on the railway, and lists the various single-word 'codes' used for various operations, requests, incidents etc. Various manuscript notes indicate that the book had various owners, including the Chief Accountant and the Stores Clerk in the Traction Manager's Department. Custodial history: Found in the National Workshops and claimed by the SL NRM.
