Image 16 - Membership credential for the CTM - the Sindicato de Trabajadores de construction etc. (the union of construction etc.) belonging to Diego Méndez Sántiz (Ton), dated September 1967 San Cristobal de las Casas. The card states that he is an active member of the organization and that because of that 'we' (the organizers) ask that the civil authorities and the military, take the necessary considerations fior the emancipation of Mexico. Image 17 - Javier López Moreno, the Governor of Chiapas (in 1994), originally from Tenejapa helping to carry (RHS) one of the Saints (Tatik Martin), during a religious procession for one of the festivals in Tenejapa. They are located at the top of the street that runs up to the Town Hall (which can be seen in the background). Note the people standing on its steps.
