The story of Lingsa choskyit ༄། །འདས་ལོག་གླིང་ས་ཆོས་སྐྱིད་ཀྱི་རྣམ་ཐར་བཞུགས་སོ།། (Wylie 'das log gling sa chos skyid kyi rnam thar bzhugs so) [Mid 19th century]

A traditional handwritten, undecorated and unbound Tibetan book (pecha), telling the story of the Delok Lingsa Choskyit, who have entered the netherworld between life and death, witnessed the realms of hell and come back to report on the future that might await. Written in Tibetan Uchen script on separate sheets of paper. Like many Buchen texts, this is an edifying biographical /hagiographical story (namthar) used to illustrate and explain essential Buddhist ideas of karma and impermanence. It is in generally good condition, but is incomplete. Folios 1-12 are newer handwritten replacement pages. Size 400 x 80mm. The book contains one loose modern hand drawn image.
