Hawilopari is the first novel written in Mizo, and was the main attraction of a major academic conference held in Aizawl on November 9, 2011, which commemorated the platinum jubilee of the novel. An EAP454 photograph of the novel's front cover was featured on the front page of Newslink, Aizawl's English daily newspaper on the same day.

Poor condition. Binding is near entirely broken. A some points, rips in the paper render certain words unreadable.
