Description: This is a list of 4058 Africans liberated from slave ships by the British Royal Navy between February 1819 and October 1822. Extent of original material: 1 volume of 332 folios. Physical characteristics of original: The volume has been rebound in cloth on boards and stamped in gold. It is spine bound in red leather. There is iron gall damage, which is eating away the edges of the pages. There is also extensive foxing.
