Description: This is a list of 5028 Africans liberated from slave ships by the British Royal Navy between November 1816 and June 1822. Extent of original material: 1 volume of 366 folios. Physical characteristics of original: The volume has been rebound in cloth on boards and stamped in gold. It is spine-bound in red leather. There is iron gall damage, water damage and foxing throughout the volume.
