Description: This envelope contains photographs, magazines’ and newspapers’ clippings, and four small books on the elementary teachers in general and, in particular, on the teachers from the north-eastern province of Corrientes. It also contains information on The teachers’ Benefit Society for the Treatment of Tuberculosis (or Mutualidad Antituberculosa del Magisterio). It also contains data on the Teachers’ First International Convention (or La Primera Convención Internacional del Maestro) and the Society of Teachers and Professors in the Republic (or Sociedad de Maestros y Profesores de la República) in order to create the National Teachers’ Convention (or Convención Nacional de Maestros) in 1928.
