Description: This Nepaco folder contains newspapers’ and magazines’ articles and clippings that inform us about the foundation of the city of La Plata. It is the capital of the province of Buenos Aires. Dardo Rocha, governor of the latter province, funded this city when the city of Buenos Aires became Federal District and capital of Argentina. Its first inhabitants were the many Italian immigrants who started to build the city. Extent of original: Nepaco folder. Condition of original: Nepaco Folder in poor condition.
