Description: This envelope refers to the several pilgrimages to the Basilica of the Virgin of Luján. The envelope contains documents on the building as well as the history of the Cathedral. It also shows engravings and photos of the Virgin of Luján, saint patron of Argentina--see line 57 of this list for more information on this central national devotion. This envelope contains four envelopes and loose material comprising newspapers’ and magazines’ articles and clippings, photographs, and approximately fifty books plus engravings. Extent of original: Handmade envelope . Condition of original: Regular to bad condition.
