Description: Luis Sáenz Peña was a lawyer and politician who became President from 1892 to 1895. He did not finish his presidential term as his government lack of legitimacy. He was elected by his political party, the Partido Autónomo Nacional led by Roca, in order to halt the election of his son Roque Sáenz Peña who did not obey Roca's oligarchic rule.
