Description: In 1907, the Galician community in Argentina founded the Centro Gallego (or Galician Centre). Among its many activities, the Centre included literacy campaigns and the publications of several works, among them, the monthly magazine Región Galicia. During these pre-modern times, the centre acted fundamentally as a benefit society. This is a handmade envelope with three stationary envelopes. The material consists of newspapers' and magazines' articles plus photos. Extent of original: Handmade envelope . Condition of original: Regular to bad condition.
