San Bernardo Salta [1930s-1960s]

Description: The hill named San Bernardo is situated east from the capital city Salta of the province of Salta. It is part of the Andes oriental mountain chain. It has been mostly known because of its church dedicated to San Bernardo. During colonial and post-colonial times this church was, first, a hospital, then, a school, and, finally, a convent of the Carmelite order. This is a handmade envelope with three stationary envelope plus loose material. The documents are photos plus newspapers' and magazines' articles and clippings.
