Hogar Sanford Anglo Argentino [1910s-1930s]

Description: This envelope contains photos, newspapers’ and magazines’ articles and clippings and one bulletin. These documents inform us about the Hogar Sanford (or Sanford Home) named after its mentor Charles Sanford (1840-1929) who was an important stockholder and member of the Directive Committee of the Anglo Enterprise in London and in Buenos Aires. The Anglo—that owned the tramways--was legally in charge of the administration and management of the Sanford Home that offered summer camps to the children of the employees' and workers' of the company.
