San Luis Varios [1920s-1940s ]

Description: This envelope contains three stationary envelopes each of them entitled. The three envelopes contained in the envelope titled San Luis Varios illustrate different aspects of the province (or state) of San Luis in Argentina during the last years of the 1920s, the 1930s, and early 1940s; principally they relate to the province's customs, religious devotion and processions, and the endurance of earthquakes. This is a new envelope that replaced an original handmade envelope due to its high level of damage. It contains mostly magazines' and newspapers' clippings and articles plus photos and engravings.
