Description: This Nepaco folder contains newspapers' and magazines' clippings and articles. In 1930, the People's Theatre (or Teatro del Pueblo) was funded and with it the Independent Theatre in opposition to the commercial theatre. The Teatro del Pueblo struggled to be an artistic movement and, politically, it stood in opposition to the military dictatorships that followed the 1930 coup by General Uriburu, thus, it also resisted the last military dictatorship (1976-1984). Extent of original: Nepaco folder. Condition of original: Bad condition.
