Assamese Manuscript [1832]

This manuscript is an Assamese Kirtan. It begins with a famous slok alluding to Lord Krishna. The beginning chapters of the manuscript narrates the ten different incarnations of Vishnu. The incarnation of Vishnu as Krishna is also one of the incarnations narrated in these chapters.As a whole the manuscript has 438 verses and it has a prayer towards the end. The manuscript was written on a Tuesday at midday on the eight month of the Assamese calendar. Mention is also made of the year when writing of this manuscript completed. It is 1832 (hak) of the Assamese year.
