Talkhīs al-Miftāḥ fī ʻilm al-maʻānī wa-l-badīʻ wa-l-bayān

A treatise on Arabic rhetoric. The text is an abdrigment by al-Qazwīnī, known as Khaṭīb Dimashq, of the third part of Miftāḥ al-ʻulūm by Yūsuf ibn Abī Bakr al-Sakkākī (d. 626/1229) on rhetoric. Followed by a short prayer (image 290-91).

The copy is marked with interlinear and marginal notes in Arabic and Malay in black ink, and a short section (images 221-242) is marked with blue biro corrections, suggesting sustained use.

A colophon in Malay (image 287) records the text's completion at noon, Friday year 'd' 'pada bilang khamis' and a name, Tuanku (?).
