"Ku deglu, dinga degg (If you listen, you will understand)"

The material is a collection of poems dealing with the history of the building of the Murid Mosque of Touba considered by many Murid scholars to be one of the major tests of the Muridiyya order in its early days. The poems provide the historical contexts of the challenges that the Murid leadership faced and how they overcame them to build the mosque successfully. The material also includes discussions focused on the family of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, the founder of the Muridiyya order, and tributes to Serigne Modou Moustapha Mbacke, the first to serve as a Khalifa of the order after the death of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, his father and spiritual master. The achievements and qualities of Serigne Modou Moustapha are also discussed in the documents.
