"Mäshafä Deggwa ""The Book of Deggwa"" [first half of the 20th century]"

The Deggwa is a collection of hymns for the church services during the liturgical year, thought to have been compiled at least in the 15th cent. The manuscript contains the hymns with musical notation. According to a marginal note on folio 191r, the book was bought by mämher ("teacher") Gäbrä Egziabeher in 1930/31 A.D. and donated to Romanat. Scribe unknown.
