"Gädlä Zä-Mika'el Arägawi ""The Acts of Zä-Mika'el Arägawi"" [20th century]"

The Vita of Zä-Mika'el Arägawi, one of the so-called "Nine Saints", is read upon the church commemoration of the Saint. The Vita was probably written in late 15th century, and it is one of the most popular hagiographic works in the region. The manuscript contains the Vita, several miracles of Michael, the mälke'-hymn in honor of Zä-Mika'el, and a marginal note. Donated by Sälomon Gäbrä Heywät (baptismal name Gäbrä Tensa'e) and members of his family.
