Photographic Negatives on Glass [1929-1935]

Most of plates for the negatives are hand-made: plates made from the usual glass were cut; the photographer spread the emulsion by hand. The state of most negatives is unsatisfactory: many of them are cracked and have spots, others have exfoliated emulsion, and lots of slabs are broken. Highly required are: compilation of inventory lists, formation of photo-negatives catalogue, their immediate copying.

Photographers engaged in the expedition include: B.V. Kutkin (1930), S.I. Yakoubovskiy (1932), M.L. Makarovich (1933), V.I. Maslov (1933-1935).
