Portraits of priests and Catholic customs [1895-1915]

This series contains studio photographs of priests, bishops, archbishops, and Jesuit and Franciscan monks. It also contains portrait studies of the following archbishops: Ricardo Casanova y Estrada, Cayetano Francos Monroy and Julián Raymundo Rivero y Jacinto. Moreover, it contains important photographic records of the paintings of the archbishops and bishops from Guatemala and other Latin American countries. In this series there are also some photographs of the processions of Antigua Guatemala, San Miguel Dueñas and Guatemala City, as well as the main altars of the churches of: San Felipe de Jesus, the Parish of Nuestra Señora de la Merced (Our Lady of Mercy) in Guatemala City, Nuestra Señora de la Merced (Our Lady of Mercy) in Antigua Guatemala, and the Cathedral of San José.
