This manuscript contains several texts quoted from Arabic books. The first is Kitab Adkiyak (Hidayah al-Adzkiyâ ilâ Tharîq al-Awliyâ’) by Sheikh Zainuddin al-Malibari, which contains teachings for Sufis (pp. 1–149/p. 18v–p. 160v). The second text contains excerpts from the book Munjiyat by Kiai Sholeh Darat Semarang, translated from Arabic into Javanese. It contains excerpts and summaries from Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din by Imam al-Ghazali (p.161r-242v/h.1-82). The third text is a copy of the book Sukbatul Iman (Su'bul al-Iman) by Imam al-Bayhaqi, which contains the branches of faith (pp. 1-84/p. 245r-p. 329r).
