This manuscript is a historical chronicle in the form of a literary story about the establishment of one of the Islamic kingdoms in Java, namely Islamic Mataram. The story begins with the war between Prince Jipang and Pajang, continuing to Trunajaya, until Prabu Mangkurat ascended the throne and built a palace in Wanakarta, which was named Kartasura.
