This manuscript is a summary of the great book by Syeikh Samarqandi which explains the basic beliefs in Islam. Starting from a discussion of the oneness of Allah, followed by the pillars of faith, an explanation of the jurisprudence of worship such as fasting during Ramadan and prostration of forgetfulness (sujud sahwi), to an explanation of the nature of Allah and the Messenger. The manuscript, written in black and red ink, has 17 lines per page. A catch word is found at the bottom of the page. There is a watermark on the written material with the word Propatria.
