Digital images of several requests regarding the land owned by S. J. Diaz in Tanjungpinang. The locations of the land parcels owned by Diaz are mentioned in the requests, e.g. a piece of land planted with coconut and other fruit trees with a roofed building on it located to the southeast from Fort Kroonprins. The requests originate from the Secretary of the Resident of Riau, Johan Hendrik Tobias. Watermark: NEDERLANDSCH INDIE.
Notes: Good condition, consisting of several double folio pages written on and sown together, with a thin cover. The title of the bundle id written in blue pencil, the documents are written in black ink. Written on stamped paper worth 1½ G, with an embossed mark of the Dutch Indies government in a hexagonal frame on the left-hand side top corner of the paper, and an embossed seal of the Resident of Riouw in the strings that hold the document together. The bundle also contains proof of ownership (bewijs van eigendom) of grave no 196 where W. J,. Diaz is buried, issued by the Secretary of the Managing Comittee of cemeteries in Tanjungpinang on 7 May 1920.
