The sluice inscription noticed in the tank called Periyakaṇmāi of Thuṟumāvūr village. The inscription is in Vaṭṭeḻuttu character of 10th century CE. The sluice was by Kōṉṟṟaṉ Tūṟuvaṉ alias Tuṟumā nāḍu Peruṅkōṭaṉ.
