There are three sluices with inscriptions on the central and southern sluices of the big tank called periyamaḍai. It belongs to Oḍukkūr village. The inscription is engraved on the southern pillar of the periyamaḍai located on the eastern part of the tank, which belongs to the Oḍukkūr village. This sluice was installed by Sri Arasar Kaṇḍarāmaṉ. On the palaeographical ground it could be dated to 12-13th century CE.
