ໂພທິສັດ

ເນື້ອໃນເປັນພາສາບາລີ ຂຶ້ນຕົ້ນດ້ວຍພະຄາຖາວ່າ ນະໂມຕັສສະ ພະຄະວະໂຕ ອະຣະຫະໂຕ ສັມມາສັມພຸທທັສສະ. ໂພທິສັດໂຕ ວະ ອັມຫາກັງ ເຕມິໂຍ ນາມະ ບັນດິດໂຕ ອະທິຕຖານັງ ຖິຣັງ ກັຕວາ ນິກຂັມມິ ອິສິ ປັພພະຊັງ ເອເຕນະ ສັຈຈະວັຊເຊນະ ໂຫຕຸໂນ ຊະຍະມັງຄະລັງ. ເປັນພະຄາຖາທີ່ໃຊ້ສູດໃນພິທີ ພຸດທາພິເສກ ແລະພິທີບຸນໃຫຍ່ ເຊັ່ນ ບຸນມະຫາຊາດ ເພື່ອລະນຶກເຖິງພະພຸດທະຄຸນ, ທໍາມະຄຸນ ແລະພະສັງຄະຄຸນ ແລະພະບາລະມີແຫ່ງພະພຸດທະອົງ.

Phothisat (Bodhisatta) with the whole text written in Pali in the form of stanza starting with “Namotassa bhagavato arahato sammāsambuddhassa. Bodhisatto va amhakaṃ temiyo nāma pandito adhithānaṃ thiraṃ katvā nikkhammi isi pabbajjhaṃ etena saccavajjhena hotuno jayamaṅgalaṃ, and etc.” It is used to recite at the ceremony of Buddhabhiseka and other great festivals such as the Vessantara Jataka festival in order to recollect the virtues of the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha and the perfections of the Buddha.
