໕໐ ຊາດ (ຜູກ ໔, ມັດ ໖)

The content tells about our Bodhisattva was as born as a rich man named Silidara performing Dānapāramī. Once upon a time, King Prahmadatta ruled the kingdom of Varanasi. At the time, the Bodhisattva was born as a rich man named Silidara. One day, a Private Buddha who had just finished his samapatti (attainment) and stood at the door of the rich man's house. Seeing the Private Buddha, he was faithful in him and offered food to the Buddha by raising the bowl of the food on his head and prayed that, “due to the results of my gift, may all the devas and humans make great sacrifices for me. On the other hand, may I become a Buddha in the future. After receiving the food, the Private Buddha made congratulation and returnt his place at Mount Gandhamadana. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Sangkat 196 (corresponding with CS 1196), a kap sanga year, on the first day of the waxing moon of the ninth lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), a kap chai day, the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of tut sai (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). Phra Rasakhu Chao Vat Saen (Abbot of Vat Saen Temple) had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled 50 Sat (50 Existences), to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo [hotu] (May this be a condition to reach Nirvana).
