Mahosadha Jataka is the story of the Bodhisatta took the birth of Mahosadha, the son of a rich man named Sirivatthaka and Sumanadevi of Mithila. The reason for using the name “Mahosadha” is because at birth, the baby’s hand carried Indra’s magic pill, which was later used to treat the patients with amazing results. From childhood to adolescence, the talent of Mahosadha showed great intelligence, helping his neighbors to resolve disputes with his wise wisdom and being tested by the king to solve problems that Mahosadha could have done well. Mahosadha was appointed as the royal sage of the royal court of King Videharaja of Mithila. The king respected and believed in the wisdom of Mahasadha and allowed him to teach the king and his servants. Mahosadha also used his intelligence to solve difficult situations, defending the country from the threat of enemies many times, making Mahosadha a favorite of the king.
