Bodhisatta with the whole text written in Pali in the form of stanza starting with “bodhisattova amhākam temiyo nāma pandito atitthānam thiram kattvā nikkhamma isi pabbaji etena saccavajjena hotu no jayamangalam, and etc.” It is used to recite at the ceremony of Buddhabhiseka and other great festivals such as the Vessantara Jataka festival in order to recollect the virtues of the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha and the perfections of the Buddha. Colophon: Folio 20 on the recto side: Sangkat (CS) 1221, a kat mot year, the nineth day of the waxing moon of the twelfth lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), a hap sai day, the writing was accomplished in the morning (between 9.00–10.30 o’clock). Ong penchao kom chamnuat (Prince who is head of the police department) is the principal initiator, together with children, grandchildren and all relatives had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sappha sut, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna.
