King Amata Ekaraja gave his answers to the 12 puzzles in order to be the directions for the kings of 101 kingdoms who rule their kingdoms in prosperity and happiness. The 12 puzzles are: 1. To keep lam mueang that keeps the rains. 2. To keep ngae mueang that keeps the sun. 3. To keep sum mueang that keeps the small and big rivers. 4. To keep hu mueang that keeps the protector gods of the cities. 5. To keep ta mueang that keeps the four gods who protect the four entrances of the cities. 6. To keep chai mueang that keeps the good wives, good daughters and good sons. 7. To keep nya mueang that keeps the people, elephants and horses. 8. To keep mek mueang that keeps the ministers and guards. 9. To keep khuean mueang that keeps the Triple Gem including the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha. 10. To close the four doors of the cities that means to closed the doors of the four states of loss and woe. 11. To make the knives and axes of the steel that means to establish the wise men as judges. 12. To keep kaen mueang that means to make swords, guns, and other weapons ready to use.
