The document is a record of a session of the Sofia Sharia Court held on 6 May 1950 at the request of Sofia resident Bojanka Stefanova Karagyozova. Before the court, she stated that she wished to abandon the Christian religion and wanted the necessary procedures to be carried out for her conversion to the Islamic religion. She states that she is 20 years old, unmarried, has no knowledge of Turkish, and will henceforth follow the norms of the Islamic religion, familiarizing herself with the other obligations and prohibitions in order to follow them. She chooses the name Sevim (in Ottoman Turkish). This is followed by an agreement from St. Karagyozov on May 8, 1950, who states that he agrees that his daughter and his wife convert to Islam (in Cyrillic). Документът представлява протокол от заседание на Софийския шериатски съд, проведено на 6 май 1950 г. по молба на софийската жителка Божанка Стефанова Карагьозова. Пред съда тя заявява, че желае да се откаже от християнската религия и иска да бъдат извършени необходимите процедури за преминаването ѝ към ислямската религия.
