Arabic Letter Book 26th January 1891 - 13rd June 1893

The volume contains letters written by British government officials of the Department of Native Affairs including J. C. Ernest Parkes, J. H. Garrett and J. J. Crooks. Letters were sent to the Muslim leaders in areas surrounding the colony of Sierra Leone such as Falaba, Port Loko, or in Fuuta Jalon. The volume also contains the Arabic translations of these letters.
