Philosophical and Religious works

This important bundle contains philosophical Sanskrit works, belonging to Advaita Vedānta, and religious texts in Sanskrit or Malayalam: the Mahāsaṃhitāvyākhyā. The text might be from Pāñcarātra tradition. The text is incomplete (images 0005-0021), whose base text is uncertain, a Yogapattam Caṭaṅku in Malayalam. This is the name of a ceremony (or rather a small function) for the instalment of a dignitary; many examples in the collection; the text itself is preceded by two leaves, without numbering, written in Malayalam language and script (images 0023-0036), Bādarāyaṇa's Vedāntasūtras - the text is complete (images 0037-0082), an uncertain Vedāntaprakaraṇa - the text is an Advaita Vedantic text. A short introductory treatise on Vedānta; no author name is given and the treatise ends with 'iti prakaraṇaṃ samāptam' (images 0083-0110). Sītārāma's unpublished Vedāntārthasārasaṃgraha (= Advaitasudhā) An important Advaita work. The text is complete (images 0111-0189), the Śrīrudram - this is the name of a famous sūkta from the Yajurveda. It is complete (images 0191-0212), and finally the Lalitopākhyāna (including the Lalitāsahasranāma) - it is a stotra text called Lalitopākhyāna. Verses on Goddess Lalitā (images 0213-0273).
