Rasipuram

The sluice was erected in the tank called Periya-kaṇmāi of Rāsipuram village. The inscription is noticed on the western pillar of the sluice. The inscription refers to repair of one of the pillar called Maṇavāḷakkāl by Sēman belongs to Rājasiriyapuram of Mī-ceṅgilināḍu. It belongs to 13th century CE. Inscription: Svasti srī mī ce/ ṅkaḷi ṉāṭṭu/ irāja[cc]riya/ purattu kumuḻi/ [mu]ḻu aḻivu . ./ ttu im maṇa/ vāḷak kallu/ ceyvittā/ n cēmaṉ. ராசிபுரம் ஊரின் பெரியகணமாய் என்றழைக்கப்படும் குளத்தில் காணப்படும் குமுழியின் மேற்புர நிலைக்கல்லில் கல்வெட்டு காணப்படுகிறது. இக்கல்வெட்டு செங்கிளி நாட்டைச் சார்ந்த ராஜசிரிபுரத்து சேமன் என்பவன் குமுழியின் மணவாளக்காலினை சீர் செய்த்ததை குறிக்கிறது. இதன் காலம் 13ஆம் நூற்றாண்டு. கல்வெட்டு: ஸ்வஸ்தி ஸ்ரீ மீ செ/ ங்கிளி நாட்டு/ இராஜ[ச்சி]ரிய/ புரத்து குமிழி/ [மு]ழு அழிவு . ./ த்து இம் மண/ வாளக் கல்லு/ செய்வித்தா/ ந் சேமன்.
