Rasalipatti

The sluice was erected in the tank of Rāsālipaṭṭi village. The inscription is noticed on the retaining slab of the sluice. The inscription refers to erection of the sluice by Pulllaya Kaḍampaṉ, son of Srī Āritam Pullaṉ during the 25th regnal year of Pallava king Nandivarmaṉ-II corresponding to 756 CE. Inscription: Srī nandipōttarai/ yarkki yāṇḍiruppattaintā/ vatu srī āritam pullaṉ/ makaṉ pullaya kaḍampa/ ṉ ceivitta kaṟkumiḻi. ராசாலிப்பட்டி ஊரின் குளத்தில் காணப்படும் குமுழியின் சாத்துக்கல்லில் கல்வெட்டு காணப்படுகிறது. இக்கல்வெட்டு பல்லவ மன்னன் இரண்டாம் நந்திவர்மனின் இருபத்தைந்தாம் ஆட்சியாண்டில் ஸ்ரீ ஆரிதம் புல்லன் மகன் புல்லய கடம்பன் கற்குமுழியை நாட்டியதாக குறிப்பிடுகிறது. இதன் காலம் பொ.ஆ.756. கல்வெட்டு: ஸ்ரீ நந்தி போத்தரை/ யர்கி யாண்டிருபத்தைந்தா/ வது ஸ்ரீ ஆரிதம் புல்லன்/ மகன் புல்லய கடம்ப/ ன் செய்வித்த கற்குமுழி.
