Odukkur-1

The inscription is engraved on the southern pillar of the periyamaḍai located on the eastern part of the tank belongs to the Oḍukkūr village. This sluice was installed by Sri Arasar Kaṇḍarāmaṉ. On the palaeographical ground it could be dated to 13th century CE. Inscription: Svasti srī / arasar ka/ ṇḍa rā/ maṉ. ஒடுக்கூர் பெரிய கண்மாயின் தெற்கு மடைத்தூணில் தெற்கு காலில் இக்கல்வெட்டு உள்ளது. குளத்தின் கிழக்குப்பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள குமிழி குளத்தின் கரையை ஒட்டியே உள்ளது. இந்த குளம் ஒடுக்கூர் கிராமத்தை சார்ந்தது. இக்குமுழியை ஸ்ரீ அரசர் கண்டராமன் என்பவன் அமைத்ததாகக் கூறுகிறது. எழுத்தமைதியின் அடிப்படையில் இது கி.பி.13ஆம் நூற்றாண்டை சார்ந்ததாகும். கல்வெட்டு: ஸ்வஸ்தி ஸ்ரீ / அரசர் க/ ண்ட ரா/ மன்.
