This palm-leaf manuscript titled Vataṉamār kāviyam is from Eastern Province, Sri Lanka.The period of this manuscript is unknown but it is estimated to be from the period between 1901- 1950. This palm-leaf manuscript was written by Kācinātaṉ cāmittampi. The 24 pages that remain consist of rituals and spells for the taming of cows/bulls, and putting various other spells on them. Other than this there are incomplete pages from texts connected to the goddess māriyammaṉ. Extent: 24.0. Size and dimensions of original material: L 31.7 cm, W 2.7 cm.
