This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript from Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. The period of this manuscript is unknown but it is estimated to be from the period between 1701-1799. This palm-leaf manuscript addresses subjects related to medicine. In the Tamil number system it consists of pages 68-110 and 48 pages are very clear to read. Diseases involving pain, full body discomfort, the art of removing excess fluid from the body, medicinal concoction made using china root, curative tonics for children are outlined in this manuscript. It also consists of nikaṇṭu which are medicinal information presented in verse. Two kinds of sentence structures are used in this text. Extent: 42.0.
