This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript from Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. The author, period of this manuscript is unknown but it is estimated to be from 1901-1999. This manuscript is about magical practices. This book contains many mantras to successfully meet the challenges faced by humans in their day-to-day activities. For example, mantras are found to be used for taming animals (preventing / appeasing), fishing activities, casting spells, drive away spirits from the body, and curse removal.
