This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript from Batticaloa, Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. It is written by Velappan Kannasamy from Batticaloa in 1791. This palm-leaf manuscript related to treatments to poison. It contains the details about the colour of snakes, colour of the poison and the teeth of the snake. It contains some magical chants at the end. The manuscript contains 134 pages. Some pages are partially deteriorated, however the letters are clear to read.
