This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript from Northern Province, Sri Lanka. A major part of this manuscript is damaged and deteriorated, rendering the text illegible, thus it is difficult to determine the exact age and author of the original manuscript. However, it is estimated to be from 1801 -1899. This manuscript is about Nayaṉa vitippaṭalam (diseases related with eye). It mentions detailed information regarding the types of eye diseases and its treatment. It also consists treatments to Kuṉmam, kayarōkam, nīraṭaippu, uṭkāyccal, curam, caṉṉi.
