This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled ‘Carppa cāstiram’ from Northern Province, Sri Lanka. This manuscript is severely damaged and deteriorated, rendering the text illegible, thus it is difficult to determine the author, exact age, title, content of the manuscript. However it is estimated to be from 1801-1899. This manuscript contains Veṇcāṟai karuppam, karu nelli kaṟpam, eḻuttiṉ perumai, añceḻuttu pākuppiṭam, olaka (ulaka) ācāṉ ceykai, vāci vaḻakka vakku putiñāṉu, mūṉṟeḻuttu viparam. This manuscript has protective cover however it is difficult to find its type. The protective cover has designs in it. The manuscript is in good condition. Extent: 112.0.
